A note from my mom:

Hey guys, wanted to stop in and leave a post so you all know we’re still here and the cookies are being baked and sold. The collars and leashes however are still in the works. It’s been so busy over here with our other business going on www.thoughtout.biz that it monopolizes most of my free time. We’re making a lot of changes with the business that will free up some time allowing me to focus my energies over here at Scottie Buddy Boy. In the meantime thank you for visiting us and for your orders. We love making and shipping your cookies.

Mom has finally gotten around to posting them. Cute ay? I love em . . . they’re soft and comfortable yet durable at the same time. Mom and dad are still working on the metal logo tags to be manufactured. I can’t imagine what takes so long to complete this phase but I’m told that they’ll be complete soon. Our first donation will be going to the Cocker Spaniel rescue of New England. I feel sad for all my fellow furry friends that are looking for homes but am happy that we can help by making donations of our products to help raise money to support this rescue.

Luckily they still fed, walked and let me potty outside . . . thank doggy goodness for that!

Today’s featured picture is of me and my mommy. She likes to have me and her picture taken together so I just do what I do best for the camera, look cute.

Things have been pretty quite for me since I’ve last posted except my mommy switched my vet to one in our very own town. I like this new place, it has all the same smells as the last place so I’m good with going there. Mom and dad had my teeth cleaned this year to find that one of my teeth had to be extracted plus they removed my two old-man bumps. I wasn’t feeling my best after all that surgery. Then I had a sore rear-end, I think from taking the medication after surgery or just being upset. My rear-end was so sore that I kept dragging it on the floor to itch. Well, mom had to put medicine on my rear and I got these cool Thomas the Tank underwear so I wouldn’t rub the ointment off. All of the ladies said I looked so cute in them. So since they had my teeth cleaned I’ve had my teeth brushed everyday. I like having fresh peanut butter breath!

Before I sign off mom wanted me to mention that my store will soon offer handmade collars and leashes. All handmade by my mom right here in the USA in our very own home. I have a set already and I give it two paws up! They’re durable and one of a kind pieces. Mom and dad are working very hard on finalizing the branding for them. I heard mom talking about posting a picture of them soon so you’ll have a glimpse of what’s to come. Arf Arf . . . you’re sure to love them as much as I do.

First off, my mom found this abandon 7 month old kitty cat that we fostered here for over two weeks. Mom named him Smokie because of his color. He is a cool cat that I got along with just fine. Check out that funny video of Smokie chasing the laser pointer that Dad brought home one day. It was kind of tough for me because he got some of the attention that I am used to. They finally found him a good home and he will be all set now. Then my mom and dad took off for three days to LBI, that was planned for about two months so I can’t blame them and they deserve it too. Check out the picture of them in front of the light house. Needless to say the time spent with me has been spread thin recently.

Mom thought this was some sort of good idea to help me learn to swim, keep me agile and athletic? She’s nutzzzz! I’m agile enough walking a mile every other day with her, swimming’s for those big sloppy lab style dogs. I mean I like water but only to drink. I sure would’ve preferred sitting poolside with a bowl of the stuff than being in it trying to find my way out. It’s pretty scary!

I been swimming before when I accidentally fell in at the pit and when Jeff Shuster bumped me in (twice). Jeff’s a nice guy and I am always under his feet so I did not take any offense to it, but if I get the chance to get him to trip up and fall in that would be great pay back. And that time I fell in at the pit when I was only two or three years, mom was so worried she was screaming at dad to jump in and save me. While I was swimming back, the long way, all the way around the boat back to the swim platform mom was so worried and Charlie on his boat was laughing about it! Ask him about someday he’ll remember for sure.

I was so excited to go, the weather was perfect for my overly furry body and I saw mom putting filet mignon on to marinate. I knew I'd eat good too . . . wahooooo, lets go. What a trip . . . I made it without too much anxiety and then dad grilled the mignon, mom sure did share hers. Bad news is that I ate so well, I got the poops and I mean it was like water!!! It was awful but it sure tasted good going down. Hope I get to go again until then Scottie & Love & Luck over and out!
